exhaustion.

Have you ever been so tired that you can hardly move? We feel like that 80% of the time. This week I have to work 2 double-doubles, essentially 13 hour shifts 2 days in a row. How beautiful. I am so poor and I have $4 left t my name and was looking forward to the $2000 coming my say on Saturday . As luck would have it, we won't be getting that until Monday now. There goes my chance of having any kind of weekend.

It seems as though life here is always a few cents short. As soon as you catch up with one thing, another challenge comes along. And it piles up on you. Rosanna and I were trying to sum up how we've felt lately. We've determined that it's undefinable. We're never quite sure what we want. I don't feel like I've settled in quite yet.

The typhoon this weekend was more annoying than anything. It just rains for 3 days and the wind blows. Waiting for busses in the rain is my new favorite thing to do. And while you're waiting your umbrella breaks and blows away.

Well I'm going to go do the one thing that keeps me going– watching pirated american television on my computer.

I'll update again when I'm not a debbie downer.

Hi Matt, I don't know if this will get to you, but I hope so. This is Zack's dad, I want you to know that Project Runway is just not the same, in other words, we miss you. I'm sorry to hear that things are difficult for you, but all this is building character. You will survive these tests and come out a stronger person for it.
We are doing well, I have been tested also by the Bull___t going on in the stock market but I've been through this before and I will survive. Beth is having a little problem with a pinched nerve or something in her lower back but is getting better and has some good news that I'll let her tell you about. Zack is Zack, still traveling on weekends and still has a great attitude about life. Brie passed all three of her boards with flying colors.
The weather here is ok, not to cold yet but Fall is in the air.
I know you are enjoying some of your adventure, if nothing more than observing the quirks of Taiwan, but I hope some of the annoyances go away.
Well, I told you that I'd write and I hope this gets to you. If you have an e-mail let me know it.
Take care and before you know it you'll be on your way home.

You crack me up. I feel like I can see you standing in some kind of rain outfit, all upset, your glasses fogging up, and then your umbrella blows away too. I'm sorry to hear about all of those things, but you are really funny.

I was looking though the Halloween photos from last year and thinking about how it was only a year ago that we were so fabulous, walking down the streets of New York. (as usual). I miss you! I will send you a longer letter soon, through Facebook.

Take care. Use our money for smart things, like umbrellas. I miss you.
